6th June to 16th June THE DARTMOUTH RALLY

This is the WEST COUNTRY RALLY and an opportunity to join an 11 - day (fully organised) LSC rally, giving you the opportunity to sail in company out from the Solent and into the lovely waters of the Dorset and West Country Coast. The rally will give you the option to tailor your own passage plan, stopping off at every pre-booked harbour, or missing out on one or 2 and taking a more direct route, with an option to anchor or pick up a mooring in Studland Bay or South Deep.
As with all rallies you can shorten or lengthen your stay, but with this rally there is the flexibility to tailor your passage to your own requirements.

The programme is as follows:
- Thursday 6th June - Shepards Marina
Tide Chichester HW 12.05 BST
Giving members the opportunity to break up their journey to Lymington with a lunchtime sail down the Solent to Shepards Marina, West Cowes. There will be the need to collectively raft up.
There will be drinks on the pontoon at 6.00pm, but no arrangement has been made for dining.
- Friday 7th June Lymington Dan Bran (leaving for Poole Studland Bay (anchor) or sailing direct to Portland Marina onSaturday 8th June)
Tide Portsmouth HW 12.45 BST
Leaving Cowes with the tide with a possible stop off for lunch at the beautiful Newtown River. You should arrive in plenty of time to explore the town of Lymington or take the wonderful walk along the seawall at Keyhaven Nature Reserve.
There will be drinks on the pontoon at 6.00pm for those who wish to join, followed by dinner at The Mayflower at 7.15pm.
- Saturday 8th June Free Day to anchor off or book your own berth (leaving for Portland Harbour on Sunday 9th June)
Giving you the option to make your own berthing arrangements or to anchor / mooring off Studland Bay / South Deep or to sail direct to Portland Marina for an extra night'sstay (tick the box and we will book you in)
- Sunday 9th June Portland Marina (leaving for BrixhamHarbour on Monday 10th June Note: Due to the tides, those wishing to arrive for dinner will require a first light start)
Tide Portsmouth HW 14.28 BST
Portland Marina is highly modern with excellent facilities and ease of access.
There will be drinks on the pontoon at 6.30pm, but no arrangements have been made for dining.
- Monday 10th June Brixham Marina (leaving forDartmouth Harbour on Tuesday 11th June)
Tide Portsmouth HW 15.16 BST
Brixham Marina is in the heart of Brixham, a picturesque Devon town in the wider area of Torbay, offering safe access in all weathers and all states of the tide.
Being a MDL Marina, we are booked on the Walkashore Visitors Pontoon, giving easy berthing access day or night. (Note: There is no direct access to water or electricity on this pontoon).
Dining has been booked at the The Old Market House for 7.30pm.
- Tuesday 11th to Thursday 13th Dartmouth Harbour (leaving for Weymouth Harbour on Thursday 13th June)
Tide Portsmouth HW 16.00 BST
The beautiful Dartmouth Harbour is a natural port and is situated at the mouth of the River Dart.
The Walkashore Visitors Pontoon has been booked, giving good access to the town centre. (Note: There is no direct access to water or electricity on this pontoon).
There will be drinks on the pontoon at 6.00pm on Tuesday 11thJune and dinner at The Seven Stars - tbc
- Thursday 13th to 15th June Weymouth Harbour (leaving for Lymington Dan Bran on 15th June)
Tide Portsmouth HW 17.29 BST
Weymouth Harbour (The old harbour) forms the mouth of the River Wey and is centrally located near the town centre and Weymouth's sandy beaches.
The Walkashore Visitors Pontoon has been booked, giving good access to the town centre.
Dinner has been booked for 7.00pm on the 14th June at Shalims Balti House Indian Restaurant - tbc
- Saturday 15th June Lymington Dan Bran (leaving for home on the 16th June)
