The 7-11 June is The Green Blue's Boating Wildlife Awareness Week, a chance for boaters to learn more about best practice when experiencing wildlife out on the water and how to best protect it too. The Green Blue, the joint environmental awareness programme between the Royal Yachting Association and British Marine, will be sharing advice and information throughout the week across their website and social media channels.
To join in on the conversation, find out more about Boating Wildlife Awareness Week and to help raise awareness, follow The Green Blue on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram: @TheGreenBlue and use the hashtag: #BoatingWildlifeAware.
At LSC we will be posting information every day this week about the Boating Wildlife Awareness Week.
Today is United Nations World Oceans Day and this whole week is The Green Blue Boating Wildlife Awareness week so I wanted to share some information with you over the next 5 days. I do hope you will take the time to read some of the articles over the week.Today I have started with a link to the World Oceans Day and then tomorrow and Wednesday we will look at two awareness leaflets produced by Chichester Harbour Conservancy and then a couple more links to The Green Blue resources. Please do take the time to have a look as this is a very important issue moving forwards and we want to protect the environment and especially our harbour as much as we can. There is so much information out there that I wasn't aware of so I do hope you find this of benefit.
