Inter-club Darts NEWS

An enthusiastic group of Langstone members has been playing darts against other local sailing clubs for several years. In recent times we have played against Locks and Tudor but both these teams have now faded away while our own team gets bigger and bigger, (but sadly not much better!)

Mengeham SC has been an opponent for the last few years and this year we have got Emsworth Slipper SC involved in the competition.

Each year we play one game at each club in the winter months which makes for a fantastic social evening and a chance to meet sailors from the other local clubs and show off our magnificent facilities.

The first game of the 2024 series took place on home ground at LSC in January. MRSC won the match and LSC were second equal. The Inter-club Darts next match is to be at MRSC on Friday 9th February and the final one at ESSC on Monday 11th March.

Spectators and potential new players are always welcome, so if you fancy joining us on one of these evenings, contact Marjorie Medland or myself for further details or just turn up at LSC by 1900 on the night, where we all meet and share lifts to the venue.

We expect to start the next series towards the end of the year and by then we might have another opponent.
