- Cobnor Weekend Sail and Camp
This is the first year that Langstone has tried out the Activities Centre site, and I am sure it's going to be even more fun than last year.
There is an option to spend an extra night for anyone who fancies setting up camp on Friday night, for anyone extra £10 pp. I will be doing this, along with a group of kayakers who intend paddling out from Cobnor on Saturday morning to meet the fleet. If anyone else is interested in this option, let me know.
Late entries are also welcomed :

Please bring your own food for the BBQ which will be set up in our camping field. Currently we have 36 members signed up, with enquiries from another 5. Anyone who plays an instrument, do bring it along as there will be music and marshmallows round the Firepit.

- Formation of a new House Committee
Calling anyone who lives to have a good time, and wants to get involved with planning the social activities of the club.
You may have heard that Ray Watterson will be retiring as House Secretary and I have been asked to form a House Committee so that we can bring together all the social aspects of the club, and plan a varied programme for the coming year. It would be great to have a variety of ages and interests represented, so I am hoping that at least one dinghy sailor and one paddler will come on board, and hopefully some new families bringing suggestions that will draw in a wider range of pro the club. Do come and be part of it- it won't be difficult.
