Cruiser Rally 2023

A big thank you must go out to all cruiser members for supporting and making
this year's rally programme a real success.

With 54 boats and over the 100 members taking part in a combination of local
and further afield destinations, we were able to make the very best of each
rally - regardless of the great British weather!

As we reflect back on the 5 rallies that took place (bad weather meaning we
had to cancel the other 3) it was great that new members, and not so new
members were able experience not only the relief of arriving at another port
in one piece, but also the help, friendship, and comradery, that only comes
when cruising and sailing in company.

The high point of the programme would have to be the mid - summer 8-day
rally to Weymouth, made up of slightly longer passages to Poole and Portland
Harbour, taking full advantage of the beautiful warm weather and calm seas,
all with the comfort of knowing that another fellow member would be there to
take your lines and hand you a welcome stiff drink.

So, once again thank you to everyone who supported the rally programme,
helped out with the hosting, the advertising and promoting of the programme,
the uploading onto the website to producing the valued spreadsheets, we
could not have pulled it off without your help.

Here's looking forward to next year. ...............
